2024 Alberni Valley Kennel Club Events

 

August 6-8, 2024 – Summer Light Dog Show – Comox Valley Exhibition Grounds

Part of a north island show circuit, mid week AVKC hosts Conformation shows, Obedience & Rally Trials.  (Campbell River Dog Fanciers – August 3-5, 2024, Glacierview Kennel Club August 9-11, 2024.)

 

August 25, 2024 – AIOC Obedience & Rally Trials – Coombs

AVKC and Campbell River Dog Fanciers host this one day event that offers 2 Obedience Trials and 2 Rally Trials.  (Open to members on the 9 Vancouver Island Clubs that make up AIOC)

 

October 18-20, 2024 – 59th Annual Championship Dog Show – Glenwood Centre

One of the longest running Dog Shows in BC that holds 3 CKC Championship Shows on this weekend in October.  

2025

October 2025 – AVKC Canine Classic – Glenwood Centre, Port Alberni

In conjunction with 60th Annual Championship Dog Show, this special event attracts the top dogs in Canada to compete for cash prizes.
