53rd Annual Dog Show – Oct. 13-14-15, 2017

Alberni Valley Kennel Club is pleased to announce their 53rd Annual Championship Dog Show will take place October 13 – 15, 2017 at Glenwood Center in Port Alberni.

2017 Official Premium List AVKC Oct 13-15

  • This year’s theme will be Friday the 13th & HALLOWEEN with special events.

    • Exhibitors asked to wear “black” on Friday the 13th
    • Exhibitors encouraged to wear “orange” or costume on Sat. Oct. 14th
    • Exhibitor & Dog Costume Parade on Saturday (for exhibited dogs only)
    • Photo Contest of your Dog in Costume – Everyone welcomed.  Enter your photos by noon on Fri. Oct. 13th (with Show Secretary)

  • 3 – All Breed Championship Shows – Friday – Saturday – Sunday

  • Friday Events include: – Halloween Photo Contest – Meet the Breeds – Sanction Match – Canine Good Neighbour Testing

  • Saturday Events include: – Sweepstakes, Junior Handling, Halloween Costume Parade, Social Dinner, various prize draws & silent auction

  • Sunday Events include:  the final All Breed Best in Show

  • Fundraising for CKC Junior Obedience/Handling program & Lions Foundation for Dog Guides

Catalogue  – ($7.) will be limited in print form but will also be available in digital form at the opening of the show on Oct. 13th.  Each catalogue will have a ticket in a prize draw to be done Saturday evening.
